We are thrilled to announce that the Model Aeronautics Council of Ireland (MACI) are now live with JustGo. The Governing Body of Model Aviation within Ireland, MACI administers helicopters, gliders, control lines, radio control and aerobatic events on both a regional and national level. 

With around 25 active clubs and 500 members, MACI will make use of JustGo’s membership management system to digitally transform its daily operations. It will benefit from JustGo’s data capture, payment and smart rules to give its members a truly memorable flying experience. 

MACI has become one of the first in the JustGo Community to adopt our latest innovation, the Digital Wallet. The Digital Wallet, which is both financially and environmentally friendly, is an excellent resource for issuing digital membership cards, qualification passes, and e-tickets on the fly. To keep MACI’s community qualified and safe at all times, each digital pass can include a scannable QR code, become expirable, kept up to date with live data fed from the JustGo system, and of course, can be fully branded to MACI’s requirements. 

It will help the Model Aeronautics Council of Ireland make the most of their community’s permits and aircraft registrations, by handing out digital credential passes integrated within each member’s Google or Apple wallet.

As our administration is made up of voluntary officers spread across the country, the cloud-based system with multiple secure layers of access to all parties suits our needs exactly.

The original cheque-based payment system and the operation of a manual desktop database will be removed thus saving weeks of work on an annual basis for our officers.

We have enjoyed working with the JustGo system to set up and go live with our new membership platform. The initial effort to transfer records was quick and relatively easy. It will help us to communicate with members in our sport in a much more effective way, and collect data to help us improve how our sport is governed.”
